There will be a strong social programme, which will include a welcome
reception and a welcome gathering, a conference dinner on the old three-master
sailing-ship Rickmer Rickmers as well as an excursion to the harbour.

Participants may also arrange pre- and post-conference tours to
Germany's new capital Berlin, which is just 2 hours away by train, as well as to
